Message It's that for all the crazy ass projects people ask about, research and eventually try to do, almost none of them ever reach their goals and few ever run right at all. That or they are hack jobs prone to explode within a month. Ever sit down, go through search (on this and other Z32 sites) and find all the people who were "serious" about projects like this? Count how many are still around or ever got them working. Of those, count how many actually did something beyond what a well-built VG could do.

Those rare projects that are seen to completion and are done right always get praise from even the crustiest of purists here. We've had a few RB conversions where even Nixit was impressed, if you can believe it. You have a nice Z and you're a serious racer so I'm hopeful you'll put as much thought into doing it right but none of us will be surprised if a few years go by and you trail off into the ether.

None of us hate seeing well-built, high-performance Zs. It's the crap sinking to the bottom that leaves the bad taste. Prove us wrong and I'll be the first to eat crow! Good luck man.
